Carolynn Pissarro joined Griffin Chapman in 1988. She became a partner in 1990 and a senior partner in April 2016. Carolynn was born in Sri Lanka and moved to the Colchester area when she was five. She qualified as a chartered accountant in 1975 and worked for KPMG, specialising in personal tax and trust work. She brings a huge amount of practical experience and knowledge of working in tax and legislation to Griffin Chapman. Before joining the firm, Carolynn took a professional break to raise her two children and work with her husband and father in the family fruit farm business. She also went on to run a children's nursery with her husband. Carolynn is a member of the Institute's Faculty of Taxation and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She is also Chairman of the UK200Group Essex Region.Dan joined Griffin Chapman in August 1999 as an accounts junior. After achieving his AAT qualification he became a qualified chartered certified accountant in 2004. Dan was awarded partnership at the firm in 2014. As well as having all round accounts and business experience he also specialises in the requirements of the academy sector. Outside of professional life, Dan is a keen and committed member of Colchester Colne Round Table. Each year he and his fellow Round Table members are responsible for creating and organising the Colchester Half Marathon, which raises large amounts of money for local charities.

Michael joined Griffin Chapman in 1996. He acts for and assists a broad range of commercial clients in a number of sectors, including construction, IT and haulage. He also advises clients in the charity and education sectors on dealing with accounts, reporting, auditing, internal control evaluation and systems and financial strategy. Outside of work his interests include most sports, fine wine, foreign languages, travel and gardening.Adrian joined Griffin Chapman in July 1996. He qualified as a certified accountant in 2000 and became senior manager, then associate in September 2015. Over the years, Adrian has built up his own diverse portfolio of loyal clients, which he advises and assists in their individual needs. When Adrian isn't at work, he can be found watching his beloved Colchester United or at home doing a spot of DIY.Amanda joined Griffin Chapman in September 2015 as an associate. She qualified as a chartered certified accountant in the 1990s and went on to become a client manager, dealing predominately with audits and accounts for businesses of all sizes and sectors. She specialises in the not-for-profit sector, which includes charities and members' clubs. Outside of work, she is a member of a beader's guild and a textile group. Amanda is keen to keep old skills alive and likes to inspire others who take an interest.

 Alex joined Griffin Chapman in 2010 as commercial consultant after many years of commercial experience at board level. He provides clients with advice relating to mergers, acquisitions and exit planning. Outside of work, Alex's interests include sailing, classic cars, travel and family.
