Family Business Briefing 2017

Carolynn and Dan at the Griffin Chapman Family Business Briefing 2017

Thanks to all of our guests who attended our Family Business Briefing at Hatfields Home Furnishers on Thursday 15th June. It was a terrific event and we hope you enjoyed the presentations and the chance to meet old (and new) friends and business contacts over a glass of wine or two.

Bob Fuller, Chairman of Hatfields delivered a fascinating account of their history. They’re a real local family business success story with a prosperous future ahead. With all the pressures of modern corporate life, it certainly sounds like they are forging ahead with their ‘softer, better approach’ to business.

Simon Blake from Price Bailey gave real value in his talk ‘What makes a buyer pay the best price for your business?’. A host of truly-actionable tips to ensure that you get top dollar for your company.

You can read the key points on Griffin Chapman's Twitter feed and you can also see a gallery of photos from event on our Facebook page.

David Vaughan and Pete Chadborn from Plan Money Limited then took to the stage to discuss ‘Investment after Retirement or Sale’. Again, a raft of valuable considerations when planning successful investments.

Guests then enjoyed a sumptuous reception with wine and canapés catered by Patrik Minder and his team from The Event Catering Company.

Thanks to Bob Fuller, Chairman of Hatfields Home Furnishers and the entire board of directors for hosting us in unique surroundings for this event. We’ll be sure to be back!

Finally, please do not hesitate to contact one of our Family Business specialists for advice and guidance if you want to take your family business to its next stage of success.

Carolynn, Dan, Alex and all of the Griffin Chapman team.
